Instructions

  1. Make the Dough:
    • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
    • Add warmed milk, melted butter, mashed banana, and the egg. Mix until a dough forms.
    • Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a small bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until combined.
  3. Assemble the Rolls:
    • Roll out the dough into a rectangle (about 12×18 inches). Spread the filling evenly over the dough.
    • Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice into 12 equal pieces.
    • Place rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
  4. Bake:
    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Make the Glaze:
    • Beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
